Tesla is looking for it’s next superstar: a motivated and curious intern within the field electrical engineering, modeling and measuring electric motor problems (with a focus on actuators). You’ll be working as a part of the Tesla motor technology team loacted in Athens, Greece. And contribute towards improving motor modeling accuracy, developing test plans and performing measurements in the dyno lab.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new and enhance existing motor characterization dyno tests to derive motor equivalent model parameters and loss maps to train the model.
- Perform dyno characterization tests to evaluate the impact of new materials in motor/system performance and efficiency.
- Write experimental sequence code.
- Write simulation code for testing modeling functions in an isolated way, for comparison with experimental results.
- Archive experimental results to respective databases.
What You’ll Bring
- Proficiency in English
